1st... Congratulations to the winners/recipients. But... It would be nice to have captions with the photos identifying who the people are and the award given.

Congratulations to both Billy (a classmate so I am comfortable calling him by his first name) and Dr. Neilson (a prof so he will always be "Dr" to me). However, I wonder if the latter has managed to improve his knowledge of the Maritimes in the past 27 years -wink & nudge, Dr. N.

Very hearty, "Congrats," 4 Squadron, for your achievement as Right of the Line winners and Grad Parade leaders, 2013. Following in the foot steps of, possibly by now, your grandfathers, 4 Squadron, Right of the Line winners and Grad Parade leaders, Grad Parade, 1971.

Nice to see this being taught as an elective. I'm not sure how the CF qualifications may have changed in the past two decades, but I had the privilege of getting qualified as an Unarmed Combat Instructor when I was posted to 1 CMBG. This qualification proved to be a huge asset, as I could thereafter run unarmed combat courses for the troops whenever training schedules permitted.

The bootcamp is a great elective, but I'd also encourage the Athletic Department to see if it can send graduates out to their units bearing the 'instructor' qualification.
