When one thinks back some 67 years to our first days at Canadian Services College Royal Roads it is the faces of our Classmates that come so clearly to mind.

Our first arrival in the Liberty Boat; our first parade before our Seniors; our cross country runs each morning and our runs up and down the hill back of the block as punishment; our amazing professors and Instructors; but more than anything else is the memory of the faces of our Classmates.

It is David’s face, exhibiting strength, gentility, kindness and friendship without limits that I remember more than others.

Would that we might have served together for more than those four short years!
