On 19 November 2014, the winners of the Canadian Armed Forces Photography Contest gathered for a formal awards ceremony to celebrate the year’s most outstanding images.

Photographer of the Year – Advanced was awarded to LCol Scott Murphy, Commanding Officer of 413 Transport and Rescue Squadron at 14 Wing Greenwood.

“Forlorn” won first place in the People category, both in the advanced classification. The points that these category wins earned resulted in Scott being awarded as the overall Photographer of Year – quite an honour within the community. Congratulation!
