A Canadian Parliamentary petition https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Sign/e-1637 aims to protect the soldiers, sailors and aviators resting in the wrecks of sunken ships, currently without laws to stop people from desecrating them, in the same way land-based war graves are protected.
