Thanks to Kommy Farahani for pointing this one out:

“One of the pilots flying the F-16 over San Francisco 49ers Stadium on Sunday is none other than 21794 Jameel Janjua, ChemEng Graduate at RMC.  He also flew with the RAF Tornado on Libya Campaign.  He holds a Masters Degree from MIT and few years back made it to the Final 8 astronaut selection. Here is a sentiment expressed by another ex-Cadet the other day:

‘How does a Canadian fighter pilot end up flying the Viper, with a USAF fighter test squadron, over an NFL game…while RETIRED!?!  Must have done a few things right.'”
