16009 Steve Molaski’s Depart with Dignity Ceremony – 29 Sept 17
Hear Yea, Hear Yea! After 34+ years of loyal and dedicated service to Queen and Country, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Molaski will retire from the CAF. By way of introduction, I am Sean Clark, and have the distinct honour of having “Mo” ask me to be the coordinator for his Depart with Dignity (DWD) ceremony.
Please accept this email as a personal invitation from Steve to come to Ottawa and enjoy an afternoon of golf then dinner, as friends and family gather together to reminisce and reflect on the career of this gifted athlete, dedicated leader and fierce friend.
The DWD will be conducted on 29 September 2017, at the Cedarhill Golf and Country Club. Golf registration will commence at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 PM. Dinner and the ceremony will start at 6 PM. Spouses or significant others are welcome to attend dinner if they don’t golf; please indicate if this situation would apply to you. Those only attending dinner should arrive and check in no later than 5 PM. The cost for golf (w/power cart) and dinner is $100.00 and the cost for dinner alone is $45.00. A cash bar will be available. The course is conveniently located close to the intersection of the 416 and the Queensway at 56 Cedarhill Drive. The website is http://www.cedarhillgolf.com/
Our attendance is being coordinated by Captain Andre Berube. Please email him at [email protected] to confirm your attendance, or if you can’t attend, to share a humourous story or an old photo or two. Please note the deadline for responses, which is 8 September 17.
I, of course, am available to any of you should you have questions about the event. I can be reached at any of the contact points listed in my signature block below. I relish seeing as many of you as I can to honour Mo as he and Cindy look forward to the next stage in their lives.
