It is with profound sadness that we share that Mathew Allan Tomm, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on August 20, 2016, at the age of 40.

Mat lived much of his life in Edmonton. He attended the Royal Military College of Canada as an Officer Cadet in Kingston, Ontario. After sustaining an injury he completed his university degree at Queens University. Mat returned to Edmonton in 2009, where he worked in the survey industry.

Mathew is survived by his life partner Andrew Robinson, parents Doug and Dianne Lunty, Granny Irna Lunty, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and his furry friend Finnegan. He was predeceased by his father Herbert Tomm, his grandparents Leo and Elfreide Tomm, Stanley and Anne Sloniowski, Grandpa Lindy Lunty, Aunt Shirley Sloniowski and Uncles Erwin Wichert and Don Lunty.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, 11526 – 76 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB., Reverend Dr. Catherine MacLean officiated.
