Although I did not know Clem as a cadet, I came to know him very well over the years as a fellow Military Engineering officer. First as my boss and later as a co worker at NDHQ Clem was one of the most intelligent and articulate officers that I ever had the pleasure of working with. Clem was an avid golfer with whom my wife Nancy and I enjoyed many an early morning round at Hylands. No matter how well or poorly he was playing Clem always seemed to have a smile on his face and obviously just enjoyed being out there. It was certainly a tribute to Clem’s toughness to see him out there playing even while suffering from the effects of ALS. We will sadly miss you Clem. Gus and Nancy Turner
