Chers amis,

26288 Sarabjot Anand – Tegh Talks

The Government of Ontario declared the month of April to be Sikh Heritage Month in 2013. Every since, Sikhs across Ontario have made the month of April a month of festivities. This year, 26288 Sarabjot Anand (Class of 2015- CSL Lasalle Sqn) was invited to Parliament Hill, Ottawa to do a presentation.

This year’s flag ship event was called Tegh Talks (based on Ted Talks) where six inspiring speakers from across the world come to share their experiences in an attempt to inspire Canadians to take action in the areas of philanthropy, personal growth and community involvement.

This year the nation will be commemorating the sacrifices of Canadians in the First World War, exactly 100 years ago. Today, because of the sacrifices of Canadians then, we live in a nation where everyone has an opportunity to live a fulfilling and peaceful life. In light of the centenary of the First World War, Sarabjot Anand was invited to talk about his career in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and his experience at the Royal Military College of Canada.
