Another Canadian Tops USAF Test Pilot Course – 21794 Maj Jameel Janjua

    «(Ottawa, Ontario, May 04, 1999) – – Dr. Arthur Carty, President of the National Research Council of Canada, is pleased to congratulate Mr. John Croll on winning Canada’s premier aviation award, the Trans-Canada (McKee) Trophy.

    John Croll led the NRC effort to plan the project, design and fabricate special equipment and instrumentation, and provided overall guidance.

    Mr. John B. Croll is a Research Test Pilot with the NRC Institute for Aerospace Research (IAR).He graduated from the United States Air Force Test Pilot School in 1976 as the top student – the first Canadian to ever achieve this distinction. Prior to joining NRC, Mr. Croll was a military test pilot with several notable accomplishments. Recognized as an excellent test pilot and aeronautical engineer, John has been involved in a wide spectrum of military and civilian flight test flying. For more than 25 years, Mr. Croll has contributed substantially to scientific research in various aerospace disciplines.»
