Congratulations to Stephanie Ochej who from time-to-time provides human interest type articles for e-Veritas.  She does this on a volunteer basis. Stephanie received a Degree (see photo for details) at the University Ottawa convocation this past Saturday evening. Congratulations!

    Hello,
I am in trying to locate a photo of my father. He was in the Air Cadets in 1948-1949 in the marching band. He played the trumpet. I am not sure what squadron he was in but he seems to think it was 409 out of Bloor Collegiate Institute in Toronto. He remembers lining the streets when the Queen came to visit in 1949. His name is James A. Melvin. If anyone can help me find any photos or archival information I would greatly appreciate it.
    Many Thanks,
    Kelly
