The gentlemen cadets chose the military college, No. 4s uniform for the race consisting of, combat boots and motorcycle helmets.

    I think that Doug Hargreaves is talking to Bruce Stott in the photo. Bruce was the backup quarterback to Rob Boadway for the 63 Redman.

    Doug is with Bruce Stott for sure. Doug’s first year of coaching was the 1965 season and I was the back-up QB to Bruce in the fall of 1966 until Bruce went down with serious quad injuries on both legs, ergo the challenge to elevate my game very quickly

    You are right about the year Jim. I “lost” a year in 64 and didn’t play then broke my arm in 65 and missed the rest of that season.

    Cross country – Year u/k would have to have been taken between Sept 1967 and May 1968 as that was when both Tom Smallman (class of 68 – back row on the right) and Sid Larsen (class of 69 front row centre right) were at RMC.
