Golden photos from the summer of ’16 by Carmen Kiltz

Anyone who has spent any time in Ontario over the past few months will attest to the extreme hot weather.

e-Veritas summer writer / photographer extraordinaire, OCdt Carmen Kiltz  took her camera around the peninsula last week to capture forour archives what things looked like during the ‘dog days’ of August 2016.

Visitors to the college in recent years will be familiar with all the construction work being done around the Sawyer and Girouard buildings. The good news is that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

What stands out in most of the photos is the yellow grass (not to be mistaken for golden) and dried out conditions in many of the areas.
