Notice of Retraction: Since the Flashback: The RMC Submarine article was originally published in eVeritas, it has come to light that the details of the final paragraph regarding the raising of the submarine from Navy Bay are not accurate. The submarine was not put back in Navy Bay because “the Base Environmental Officer ordered the parts to be put back in Navy Bay as their removal disturbed ‘fish habitat’”. It was raised as part of an exercise despite an agreement to leave all objects on the bottom, spent some time on the jetty because a home could not be found for it, and then subsequently returned to Navy Bay. eVeritas apologizes for the error. Il a été soulevé dans le cadre d’un exercice malgré un accord pour laisser tous les objets au fond de la baie, a passé un certain temps sur la jetée parce qu’un endroit approprié n’a pas pu être trouvé pour lui, puis est retourné à Navy Bay. eVeritas s’excuse pour l’erreur.
