p_bradley.jpgCurrent III Year hockey Paladin star forward, Paul Bradley, is closing in on the 100 point Club. At the time of this writing, Paul had amassed a total of 95 points – all in OUA league play. We do not have access to what he has accomplished in exhibition games. It is pretty certain he has more than five over the past three seasons – roughly 18 games.

Other than a few years in the late 1970s and early 1980s RMC Redmen (now Paladins) have competed in OUA (formerly – OUAA) hockey for a long time. Over that span, how many players have exceeded 100 points (including exhibition games) in their RMC hockey careers?

a. 1
b 2
c 3
d 4
e 5

Answer: d. 4
Steve Molaski *254
Don Gillighan *154
Bill Harris *106
RJ Ellis *102

* Includes exhibition games.

Congratulations to Paul on a great season and personal milestone. Inasmuch as old guys like to talk about how good it was in their day…it just isn’t true when it comes to the hockey being played today. It’s so much faster and a far better calibre than when I played. Hope to see you guys in Toronto later this week agains “Ry High” at George Bell.

PS I didn’t know they kept stats like this. I had about 30 one year. Would you know what my total points were?

Hi Dave: First of all, I’m sure the current team really appreciates your support.
I’m aware that you have been a generous supporter of RMC hockey for a number of years.

The current brand of hockey may be a bit stronger then in your day, however, there is no doubt, in my mind that you would have still been an “impact player” with the present day RMC edition.

I don’t believe that there are “life-time” game stats available for players from your era but we will keep researching.

    Regards,
    Bill Oliver

The best list of on line stats can be provided by HockeyDB.com Here is he link to RMC teams

Unfortunatley the info is best only after ther 1997 season. The CIAU to the best of my knowledge and previous research does not have electronic copies of team stats past then and I have not found anything past 1996. For more stats info check out the unofficial RMC Hockey Website at

I second Bill’s comments, Dave, and thank you for yours. And though I loved watching the team play back in the seventies, and remember your on-ice heroics well, I agree with you that the Paladins of at least the last decade have been playing at a whole new level. Thanks for your continued support, and that of many of your old buddies and team alumni.

I too would like to offer my congratulations to Paul and to the entire team on a great season and best of luck on their drive for a play-off birth. We hockey alumni (captain of the 1975 team) continue to follow the hockey program and I fully agree with the Commandant’s assessment that the play has reached a whole new level.
I have a note for Dave Hall … we need you and your 30 points for the world cup tourny in Quebec City in April! Call me!
    Go Palladins
