• He received a Civil Engineering degree at RMC;

  • Started his military career with the Armoured Cops during two summers of phase training before he transferred to RCAF as a pilot and took pilot training for two years;

  • While a student at the U of T he sang with the Hart House chorus;

  • A highly respected Oakville litigation lawyer with over 35 years experience;

  • He has litigated many complex cases, and has represented clients in all levels of Courts, including the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal;

  • He was awarded the Queen’s Royal Jubilee medal for volunteerism in 2002;

  • Former President and Board Member of the Royal Military College Foundation;

  • Board Member of the Royal Military College Club;

  • Has a great interest in traveling in Latin America and has traveled extensively through Mexico and has visited Costa Rica and Cuba;

  • He golfed quite extensively and played tennis competitively;

  • An ultra-marathoner across North America and ran 50-mile races.
